Arcare is one of Australia’s top aged care providers, with over 50 residences nationwide. Over its 40-year history, Arcare has become known for delivering premium care with a relationship-first approach.

Arcare experienced significant growth over the last five years, but the outdated website no longer reflected its premium service and the experience wasn’t optimised for driving occupancy and recruitment.

Juicebox was tasked with aligning Arcare’s digital presence with the quality of its customer experience and the sophistication of its physical residences while ensuring an inclusive and accessible user experience.

The new website would also play a pivotal role in boosting enquiries for both occupancy and recruitment.

Transitioning into aged care is an emotionally charged process, and for potential residents and their families, making the right choice is a high-stakes financial and emotional decision.

We began with an in-depth customer experience process to lay the groundwork for a digital transformation that deeply resonates with Arcare’s audience.

Empathy mapping gave us a profound understanding of how users think, feel, and act during their journey. This insight guided our approach to content and UX design, ensuring that we addressed the unique needs of each audience segment.

We delivered critical, tailored information that was both accessible and reassuring, particularly for families navigating high-stakes decisions. The user interface reinforced the idea of personalised care, utilising immersive content such as virtual tours and resident stories to bring Arcare’s values to life.

The new website increased enquiries and provides a reassuring and engaging user experience, perfectly aligning with Arcare’s mission to offer care where the details make the difference.
